Nail Update:
If you’ve been following along with us on our Facebook Page, then you know that Titan went back to the vet this past Tuesday evening.
He had his annual exam, nail trim, and evaluation of the injured nail. Needless to say, the nail was not ready to come off. The vet tried to pluck it off, Titan yelped, and that was that. Now, we could have scheduled an appointment for surgery, however, I’m not too fond of sedation. So we are soaking for the next several weeks and hopefully by our next nail trim appointment, February 19th, the nail will pluck off with no pain. If it’s still not ready, I fear for the worse and he’ll probably have to undergo sedation and surgery. 
I’ll keep you posted if anything pops up before then. Thank you again for all your continued support, prayers, and thoughts. I know to some it’s “just a nail”, but to me, it’s bigger. I don’t like to see my boy hurt. Yes, I’m a big softy!

Thanks again so much for being in the magazine. I don’t want him to go to surgery I hate surgery hopefully soaking will work keeping my fingers and toes crossed that he does not have to go under.

Ah… So he has to wait for it. I thought it’s already plucked out as I haven’t been online much dear. Hope soaking will help him out and surgery wouldn’t be the only solution. Let’s see

Nope, the nail is still there and still secure. Hopefully next visit will be different. He’s doing much better with it though. It bleeds a teeny bit when he overdoes the running thing but Momma is taking good care of the lil guy.

Will check out the website too. Your love for Titan shines through and he’s lucky to have such a dedicated Momma. Sadly, pit bulls have been outlawed here in Ontario, Canada. As you said; it’s NOT the dogs, it’s the BAD OWNERS who teach their dogs to do bad things. 
( Looking at Titan’s face just makes me smile, (especially his Facebook Timeline photo ♥). Sorry you and he have to suffer through the nail trauma a bit longer. Hope all goes well with that and there’s no need for sedation. Your getting famous, girl! Thumbs up!!

Thank you Debbie! There are a lot of places here that they are banned as well. Truly sad that the “officials” who make these stupid rules aren’t educated enough to see it’s not the dogs and start holding people accountable instead. He really is a lucky boy, slightly dysfunctional but I do love him more than anything. He needed a chance and I’m giving it to him the best way I know how.
