You got it. Nothing excited has been happening lately at Castle Titan, or at least, nothing that I deem blog worthy.

Tonight, Titan and I went back to the vet. It’s our every 3 week, standing appointment for Titan’s nail trim. Today, he was acting very much like a stubborn lil Bulldog. He wasn’t listening, then he’d listen, then he’d be stubborn again and totally ignore what I was saying. Yes, we have these lil bouts sometimes and they infuriate me! Well, not really, I did have to giggle because Titan’s girlfriends, the vet tech’s, all got to see him show his lil bulldog butt! 
I think one of Titan’s previous nail visits must have left him slightly afraid. The one where the vet took him into the other room and they tried to pull off his nail, because the past 2 visits since then, Titan has been a lil scared and shaking a bit in the waiting room. This is an action I didn’t want to have happen. So now, we are trying to break this “scared” habit of his. Oh boy, right?
We got his nails cut tonight and the tech managed to cut his “injured” nail. It had grown out quite a bit. Apparently it hurt Titan a bit cause he went to pull back and then gazed up at me for comfort. Awww, I just melted. Poor baby Titan.
The trim was done and as usual, we gab a lil bit with the tech’s as Titan proceeds to whine oink to get out of there. You really have to hear his whimpering sound. Totally sounds like a pig oinking.
He’s usually much better on the ride home than the ride there. Going, he’s so excited and can’t wait to get out and pee on everything. Going home, he’s chilled out in the back of the Jeep, rockin his lil man pose.
We get home and usually he wrestles Daddy in the evenings but I think he was just plain tuckered out since I was home sick all day, he didn’t even feel like wrestling. He ate his dinner, then a bone, and thankfully, he just went off to bed with Daddy.
All tuckered out
Now Momma can watch The Bachelor in peace and quiet.

It sounds like poor Titan is making a recovery – that’s a good thing. I’m sure the vet is not his favorite place. I know my cat doesn’t like it one bit. BTW how was The Bachlor?

Thanks Lisa. He actually doesn’t really mind the vet up until the nail incident. I’m sure he’ll get past it. Just gets a lil freaked out now. We’ve overcome so much, I’m sure it’s a matter of time before we are back to being “normal” at our visits.

Hi sweetie! Yeah, I felt bad for the lil guy when he pulled back when they cut it. I can’t imagine how painful it’s been for him. Trust me, he’s getting babied soooooo much it’s almost sickening.
poor guy. Sometime I wish our petzcould understand usso they’d know uncomfortable trips to the vet (or groomers) are done out of love.

Hey girl! That’s Titan’s morning look. He’s so lazy during the work week. On the weekend’s, I wake up to him staring at me in the face laying next to me.

As for the Bachelor, oh LAWD. YES, dude was crazy! I think Sean made a mistake though. Should have ditched Ash Lee imo and kept Des around despite the whacko bro. He just needed a good smack down imo
You know what? There is nothing wrong with taking a break and enjoying a little bit of nothing.
I’m sorry his nail trims are so stressful for you both. It sounds like you have a good plan for working on it, though, and I am sure once he gets used to the routine he will handle it all much better.

His nail trims are a piece of cake but since he practically pulled off the one nail on his front paw, it’s been painful for him and we’ve been nursing it. This was the first vet visit in over a month that they attempted to trim it back. It’s about ready to fall off, thankfull!

Awww…Titan,
I know just how you feel about nail clipping. I’m sort of lucky due to most of my nails get trimmed on my walks and the vets says there okay, however the thumb nails (that’s what I like to call them) grow, and grow to fast for my liking. When I see the clippers…. Yikes!
