Guess What Showed Up Today?

Well if you haven’t been keeping up with our Facebook Page, then you don’t know the answer to

Guess What Showed Up Today?

So I’m gonna clue you in but let me give you a little preface:

I get home from work and walk in the front door

Hubs is standing there and says “I think we have wubba”

It took me a second to think about what he was saying and I turned to my living room (Titan and my cave) and saw this disgusting looking thing lying on the floor.

Off to the laundry room I went to get the little flashlight and to my purse to grab my phone to snap the pic.

Low and behold!

It’s the Wubba!

Snugga Wubba

Umm yes, that was a baby blue leg of a snugga wubba!

Sometime while the hubs and I were at work, poor baby Titan (all by his little lonesome) managed to puke up this gem. Looking at it now, it’s much bigger than I thought!

I was sooooo happy he barfed it up and kept kissing all over his handsome lil self!

So, the wait is finally over and I’m happy to say, I can sleep in peace tonight. Titan is back to normal, besides the toenail and I don’t have to keep searching Titan’s poop! :)

Thank you all for bearing with me and offering words of advice and support. Ya’ll truly rock!

  1. Well I’m glad he’s ok that’s great news, I’m really over protective with my pups and always keeping my eyes on them to make sure they don’t eat anything, for the most part they’re GREAT and behaving in fact if they see something strange they will often back away from it until I can have a closer look….

    • I’m overprotective as well but it just takes that slip second for them to gulp something down. It was already down the hatch by the time I got to his mouth and ready to go in. I’m thankful it’s out. Shew! Threw out all his stuffy kind of toys and he’s not getting any more! :)

  2. Yaaaaaaaaaay! I know you are glad to have one less worry.

  4. I’m so happy for you…It must be a huge relief to know that the wubba danger is past and Pibbles is none the worse for it…Hard lesson learned I guess, but a very happy ending

    • Thanks sweetie and yes it IS a relief! We are throwing out more stuffed toys today. It’s just not worth it cause apparently, it’s quicker than his momma.

  5. That’s a riot, the way it’s just dangling at the end of the ol’ toothpick, there! Congratulations!

  6. What a relief Bren! SO happy for you and Titan. A story that ends well :) Enjoy your weekend with Titan!

  11. Oh my! Just came across this blog. Titan is adorable! So glad he puked it up and didn’t have to go to the Vet!

    • Hi Devin and thank you. I did take Titan to the vet on Thursday. Initially went in for xrays but he wasn’t fasting so vet said we wouldn’t be able to see the toy. I had the option to take him back Friday a.m. and fasting. When I got up Friday a.m., Titan was acting so normal, I decided not to take him. During the daytime, while I wasn’t there, he managed to yak it up. Thank goodness!

  12. Great news! Madden eats and swallows all her toys but no blockage yet. That was a big chunk of Wubba to swallow! What a relief to be over that, he must have been pretty uncomfortable. You’re lucky he got rid of it hismelf, I know someone who went through a $6000 surgery recently for their pup for the same problem.

    • Hi Emily! OMG! Doesn’t it freak you out? That was the first time he ever swallowed a toy, or part of it for that. I’ve usually be able to swipe it from him before he even gets that chance. Yep, it was a big piece and bigger than I thought. Freaked me out more to see how big! O.o My poor baby. Oh my, $6000? Did they have to remove intestines or something? Is the pup ok? I’ve heard too many horror stories, enough to make me be more cautious than ever before. We got lucky this time. I wanna keep it that way! ;)

  13. Hi Brenda,

I’ve been looking out for FB updates about this and got to know there ;) That’s such a relief for you as you were worried about it along with the nail.

I think mostly for him. Don’t know how he struggles with it ;)

Well, not anymore. Hope nail will be taken care of sooner Brenda :)

    Cheers…

    • Thank you Mayura! Titan is doing much better with the nail. He’s actually been cleaning it himself now, licking away. I don’t think it bothers him as much or maybe he’s just learned how to manage the pain better. Thanks so much for the support!

  14. Titan is so adorable! Very surprised that whole leg fit inside him!
