Well Christmas 2012 is quickly winding down. It’s 5:36 pm and the hubs, Titan, and I are watching a movie and yawning. Wait, back track, Titan is laying on his bed pillow…. snoring
.
It’s a pretty uneventful Christmas when you have no family other than your hubs and your furson. So Christmas festivities need to be improvised a bit. Last night, before I went to sleep (hubs and Titan were already in bed), I put out Titan’s presents under the tree. This morning, the hubs said Titan got up in the wee morning hours, went out into the living room (she-cave) and was growling. What was he growling at? Things that were under the tree that weren’t there when he went to bed.
Titan and I finally woke up a lil after 8 am. Hubs was already up so we did our usually. I call for the hubs and he and Titan bed wrestle while I lay in bed checking my phone. However, once the hubs came in to wrestle, I went into the living room and took Titan’s “treats” out of the box and placed them under the tree.
He was anxious to know where I was so I told the hubs “Ok”, which meant it was “safe” to let Titan out of the bedroom. Here’s how the rest of Christmas morning at Castle Titan went.
Then I figured out do a lil more than a few photo shoots. Enjoy………..
and lastly………..
So that’s how Christmas at Castle Titan went down this year, other than an almost botched dinner because my oven decided to officially go on the fritz.
So how about you? How was your Christmas and how did you celebrate it?
Merry Christmas from Mr. P, myself, and Titan!

Titan growling at the presents under the tree is so funny!

I wish I would have heard and seen him :/
LOL, Titan is too funny. I know it’s sure not the same with my kids grown now. We did have a nice time going out to eat with my 21 year old on Christmas Eve. First time in a while we did that and he was quite a talker. Life changes and so do our traditions for the holidays

Thanks Lisa. I’m sure the excitement of having lil ones around and then not having them is totally different. I guess we need to make the most of what we do have, right? Glad to hear you were able to get together with your son. I’m sure that was very special. Happy Holidays my friend!
Aww looks like Titan had a very good Christmas. Ours was peaceful we don’t really make a big thing about Christmas. Exchanged gifts before we went to bed Christmas Eve and then snuggled. Think that’s what we look forward to more is time to snuggle more than anything.

He did Dee! I like a peaceful holiday too. Whether it’s just the norm of me in my cave, hubs in his den, and Titan being his normal needy self, it’s about love and family. We don’t do the gift thing anymore. We buy when we need things so it’s hard to pinpoint a special present. Hubs did power wash my Jeep on Christmas for me though.
Your dog is so cute. I really enjoy hearing about the adventures. This is our last Christmas is the U.K. so we had the delicate balance of buying just enough but not too much or little because we know that toys will be packed up in late May and she will not see them again for at least 2 months. We have been alone for the past three Christmas. I will have to say that I can not wait to get back to the states because I feel it a bit isolating. My child always has a good time. She is still in the Santa stage so she gets up at 7 am to make sure that Santa ate her cookies and left something big under the tree.

Aww thanks Cynthia! I’m sure you’ll be happy to come home to the states. Sorry you’ve been spending them alone. I know how depressing that can be, especially with your daughter. Hopefully things will look up for you when you come home. I’ll keep ya in my thoughts, gf. Muwah!
