Step “Outside the Box” Please

Today I have the honor of being a Featured Guest at Mayuran4Ever and I’m totally excited!

Why?

Because Mayura4Ever is a fabulous blog for helping people. Well yes, I like to help people too BUT Mayura’s blog is about spreading information about Blogger, SEO, Social Media and Web related tools and services.

That said, I had to step “outside my box” of writing hormonal, pit bull, snarky, womanly, rants type posts and step up my game. I was hesitant at first but because of Mayura and my good friend Lisa, they convinced me to go for it!

So, why not take a moment, hop on over to Mayura4Ever and check out my post! Be sure to Comment there and if you like what you see, Subscribe!

  1. Hey Brenda,

I’m honored to have you on my blog :) Thanks for accepting my invitation and it’s not TYPICAL BRENDA there ;) It will show your readers how flexible you are in writing and prove the fact that you never give up on CHALLENGES, whether it’s known or unknown :)

Thanks AGAIN for being on my blog and for spreading word here…

    Cheers…

  2. Awesome piece, I just changed mine for the Thriving Nature blogger I have. I knew you could do it Brenda, you are MORE tech savvy than you realize :) Anyone that uses blogger should really follow Mayura4Ever.com – always learning something new there.

    • Thanks Lisa! It really is a peeve and as you mentioned on Mayura’s blog, I didn’t even think about WordPress.com comments. Ugh! I totally hate them! IMO if you can spend the time needed to moderate your comments, maybe one should rethink blogging in general? These are possibly the same people who don’t reply to comments either. Lack of blogger-commenter interaction?

  3. Ooohhhh I don’t like that captcha my eyes are already bad most times I have to click about 3 times to get a clear word or number. It does make me not want to comment on some blogs. I just read them and don’t comment.

    • Thanks Kita. That’s a shame though, right? The blogger is probably missing out on a great comment and interaction with their readers. smh

  4. That surely was a wonderful post Brenda!

I just left a comment over there and would be tweeting this post too. And yes, just as I mentioned there, I am not at all in the favor of having captcha if we can manage to find some other security measures or plugins in it’s place. :)

Ah…you already have CommentLuv here so that takes care of everything – isn’t it? Thanks for sharing. :)

I appreciate your comment here as well as over at Mayura4Ever! Have a blessed day!

  5. It must feel strange to you Brenda to hand over the wheel…
Well Mayura is one heck of a guy and knows his stuff. I can think of worse people to hang out with. ;)

    • Ahh Mayura and Lisa both convinced me I could do it. Was a big leap. hehe I had 2 different topics, then I stepped away and went to comment on a few blogs and that’s when it hit me. CAPTCHA! I HATE IT! hahaha Thanks for stopping by hon! ;)

  6. Hey Brenda,

That was a fantastic post. No one loves captcha and it’s better to have some plugin (like GASP) in its place.

Tweeted that post. Great work, Brenda.
Devesh recently posted…What’s Your Commenting Policy on Your Guest Posts? My Profile

    • Hi Devesh and thank you for your comment! I’m assuming you found it easy enough to do so? ;) On wordpress, it’s sooooo easy! Use Akismet for spammers. I also have a couple other plugins that track ip address so I can block em for good! :) Blogger is different however I’d rather weed through comments than turn away a reader/commenter!

Have a great day and thanks for the tweet! :)

Woof at us ;) !
